Alena Jenkins is a multi-genre novelist who has never been especially good at choosing just one kind of story.

She writes fantasy, crime, comedy, romance and stories that don't always behave themselves when asked to fit neatly into a genre.

Fascinated by history, human nature and those little details that make our lives extraordinary, Alena is particularly fond of eccentric characters, forgotten places, and dangerous adventures that begin when someone dares to take the first step.

After years of travelling and collecting stories, she now lives in a small picturesque village in Yorkshire (England), working, writing, drinking coffee and exploring the depths of the human soul — while planning a new adventure, of course.
